Darla leads Stageworks Academy into its 42nd season and is so excited about the new works of art and accomplishments the students will achieve.

Darla has spent many years learning the latest trends of arts administration and leadership. She has directed or produced over 23 Broadway Musicals including, Mamma Mia, All Shook Up and We Will Rock You.

She has co-produced the opening ceremonies for Alberta Winter Games and Alberta Special Needs as well as many other Charitable Events.

Darla’s Legacy and the one she is most proud of was to advocate on behalf of Stageworks, The Arts in Leduc and Youth Arts Development by working with the City of Leduc to build Stageworks Studios in the Beautiful Cultural Village.

Miss Gen has taught at Stageworks for 14 years. Miss Gen has won numerous awards for her choreography. Miss Gen is a certified ADAPT and ACRO teacher and holds her Intermediate Ballet Accreditation.

Miss Gen also works in the administration registering all the students and doing accounting and booking services.

Taylor Kachmarski is going into her fifth season teaching with Stageworks. She has trained across Canada, the USA and took her Vocational Ballet Exams at the Royal Academy in London, England. Where ballet was her first love, Jazz and Hip Hop soon followed. Taylor is so excited to move and share the love of dance for another season.

When she isn't busy at the studio she works full time at the front desk.

Andrea is going into her 7th year with Stageworks. She has trained across Canada and the United States accumulating many certificates and awards along the way. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts and Education from the University of Alberta. She continues to train and educate herself to provide the highest standard of training for her students. Andrea can’t wait to share the love of dance with students and parents.

Miss Brogan is our Acro Specialist and successfully completed 2 levels of acrobatic arts. She is also our company lyrical instructor and preschool. Miss Brogan will also lead the large dance competitive group. Miss Brogan also teaches our intensive solos and duets.

Krista Lin is a professional dancer and is an active performer in the arts industry. She loves contemporary dance and is a self proclaimed bun head.

Teighan is an actress, singer, and dancer who graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Contemporary Dance. As well, she is certified to teach the Ballet Junior Grades Program. She has completed the Vimy Ridge Professional Dance Program, where she trained in RAD and Cecchetti ballet styles and was a company member with the Edmonton Contemporary Dancers. She is currently pursuing her second bachelor's degree in elementary education.

Rhianna Wall is the Theatre Arts & Drama instructor at Stageworks. Whilst growing up Rhianna was either on stage performing, in the studio rehearsing or making her poor family watch the many dances she made up in the living room. Rhianna is trained in many different forms of Dance as well as the Theatre Arts. Rhianna’s love for the performing arts is something she cannot wait to share with all of her students. When Rhianna is not at Stageworks being dramatic you can find her working as an educational aid at Christ the King school & singing show tunes in the hallways.

Welcome Nicole to Stageworks Team. Nicole has trained for many years as a performer and is so excited to be a part of the Stageworks Team. She has performed in many shows such as Grease, Mamma Mia, Beauty and the Beast, All Shook Up, We Will Rock You and now James and the Giant Peach.

Nicole has taken vocal lessons and competed in the music festival for years and excited to share with her students.
