Darla Lemay

Darla Lemay is the esteemed Artistic Director of Stageworks Academy of the Performing Arts, where she has dedicated over 32 years to nurturing the talents of aspiring performers. A seasoned leader in the arts community, Darla's vision and expertise have shaped the academy into a dynamic hub for creativity and artistic development.

Darla is a graduate of Grant MacEwan University, where she earned a Certification in Arts and Culture Management. Her educational background, combined with her decades of hands-on experience and training in New York, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Virginia, Orlando, Vancouver and Edmonton allows her to guide students and staff with both artistic insight and organizational acumen.

Under her leadership, Stageworks has become known for its innovative productions and commitment to fostering the next generation of performers, making Darla a key figure in the regional arts landscape.
